As usual, upstate South Carolina is gonna get icy just before spring. Even though it's still needing some repairs, I'll be taking Herr Quattro to work tomorrow and leaving the Mini at home. I'll also be running the dashcam to catch any shenanigans that might arise as my fellow South Carolinians panic like it's the damn apocalypse.

Sounds like a good chance for ice, and maybe drowning a Saturn

there is about a foot between the top of that pile and the edge of the first floor roof. leave yourself extra room. Getting going isn;t your main concern, its (not) stopping that will get you

South Carolinians really cannot into snow. I remember last year when Charleston shut down all of the bridges in and out of the city because we got a light dusting of snow. It took me so much longer to get to work on John's Island, and the roads were totally fine (but as someone from New England, I am more than used to driving in heavy snow). You would have thought the world was ending from everyone's reactions.

I'll keep the GoPro charged tomororw, have a feeling Tuesday will be interesting with a good chance of freezing rain (might as well cover the Miata with used towels in case it hails).

I know. I've driven in snow and ice plenty of times. I used to live in New England, so it's nothing new to me. I'm more terrified of everyone else's driving, haha.
